By 2025, the old Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) which has been serving the UK for many years will be replaced with an all-digital network. The roll out of the new network, by BT, will see some parts of the country switching earlier.
Changing over any analogue technology you currently have that uses your phone line to digital will prevent any possible interruption in your telecare services. By using internet-based connectivity, telephone companies will be able to provide a better service without the considerable costs of maintaining the old network.
The new digital equipment we offer as standard operates using mobile networks and can share data in the same way a smart phone can.
Battery back-up means that even in a power cut there will be the ability for your technology to alert our monitoring centre to make sure that you remain safe and will stay connected.
